Bio
Itxill Osorio Gonsen (Mexico City) studied French Literature at UNAM, a background that informs the conceptual grounding of her practice. She works across textile, graphic, and material processes as forms of visual inscription, using embroidery, paper interventions, and assemblage to explore the relationship between image, touch, and surface.
She furthered her training in contemporary textile practices with artist Gimena Romero and through independent study in printmaking and transfer techniques. Her work has been presented in group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States, South Korea, and Vietnam, and is part of the collection of the Museo Nacional de la Estampa.
